Vineyard:

The Grenache was sourced from our Marina ranch and the Barbera from our Smith ranch in the Livermore Valley. The Syrah was sourced from our Arroyo Seco ranch. These grapes were ultra-farmed, handpicked into half-ton bins and hand sorted in order to ensure premium quality.

Fermentaion:

The Grenache was fermented in small stainless steel fermenters and it was pumped over twice daily. The Syrah and Barbera were gently crushed and then fermented in small one ton bins, being punched down by hand twice daily in order to maximize color and tannin extraction prior to transferring to barrel.

Aging:

The Grenache was aged in French, Hungarian and neutral oak for 13 months. The Barbera was aged for 13 months in neutral oak barrels. The Syrah was aged in American, French and neutral oak barrels for 13 months.
