    2015 Counoise

    Inspired by generations of collective winemaking expertise, each
    bottle is artfully blended to express the distinctive terroir and varietal
    characteristics of each vineyard site.

    WINEMAKING
    All varieties were fermented in small stainless steel tanks
    and pumped-over twice daily to increase the extraction
    of aromas, flavors, and textures. The wine was aged for 8
    months in 80% neutral and 20% new French oak barrels.

    TASTING NOTES
    This Counoise showcases aromas of dark fruit, herbal tea,
    and white pepper with a burst of boysenberry jam and
    chocolate, leading to a delightful finish.

    Inspired by generations of collective winemaking expertise, each
    bottle is artfully blended to express the distinctive terroir and varietal
    characteristics of each vineyard site.

    WINEMAKING
    All varieties were fermented in small stainless steel
    tanks and pumped-over three times daily to increase
    the extraction of aromas, flavors and textures. The wine
    was then aged in about 65% new French and Eastern
    European oak barrels for 18 months.

    TASTING NOTES
    This wine has aromas of black cherry, black berry and
    raspberry with hints of vanilla, clove and cocoa. Ripe
    flavors of blue berry and cranberry are complemented by
    notes of cherry and graham. This medium-bodied wine
    has a beautifully soft mid-palate with well-integrated
    tannins that lead to a long, lush finish.

    artfully blended to express the distinctive terroir and varietal
    characteristics of each vineyard site.

    WINEMAKING
    All varieties were fermented in small stainless steel tanks
    where they were pumped over twice daily to increase the
    extraction of aromas and textures. Each varietal was initially
    aged separately in new and neutral French oak for 12
    months before being blended together and then barrel-aged
    for additional 8 months. The wine’s total time under oak was
    20 months.

    TASTING NOTES
    This wine has aromas of raspberry and blueberry jam with
    nuances of toasty vanilla oak, followed by flavors of dark
    chocolate and plum. This full-bodied wine has a rich,
    weighty mid-palate with well-integrated tannins that lead to
    a long, savory finish.

    Inspired by generations of collective winemaking expertise, each bottle is
    artfully blended to express the distinctive terroir and varietal characteristics
    of each vineyard site.

    WINEMAKING
    The grapes were harvested cold at daybreak and the juice was
    left on the skins for about 6 hours, providing only limited color
    extraction. The wine was then cold fermented to maintain the
    naturally vibrant fruit flavors and aromatics of the grapes. Aged
    4 months in stainless steel tanks.

    TASTING NOTES
    This beautifully delicate Rosé is sourced from our sustainably
    farmed Hayes and Smith Ranches in the Livermore Valley.
    Both varietals contribute lush red fruit and crisp, refreshing
    acidity. Aromas and flavors of strawberries, watermelon,
    raspberries and melon are followed by hints of bing cherries,
    marshmallow cream and cherry cola. Bright and fresh, this is
    the perfect wine for warm summer days.

    artfully blended to express the distinctive terroir and varietal characteristics of each vineyard
    site.

    WINEMAKING
    All varietals were fermented in a combination of small one-ton open top bins and tanks, and gently
    pumped over twice daily to extract the wonderfully delicate flavors and aromas. The wine was then
    aged for 12 months in 20% new French oak barrels.

    TASTING NOTES
    This wine is a blend of renowned Pinot Noir clones from our sustainably farmed Riva Ranch Vineyard
    in Arroyo Seco, Monterey. The result of this special selection is a wine that accentuates the
    fruit, delicacy and elegance of the Pinot Noir grape. Aromas and flavors of red apples,
    cranberries, cherries and black tea with hints of hibiscus, sage and earth.

    TASTING NOTES
    The Azul-Verde 2014 showcases flavors of ripe black cassis, raspberry, herbs, and a burst of blueberry fused with graham cracker that follows through the finish, accentuating this lush red wine.
