On the nose, this wine is earthy with ripe raspberry, cranberry and light chocolate-mocha. In the mouth, you’ll enjoy plum and cranberry with crisp acidity, and soft-medium tannins with a finish of black cherry, black currents and a balanced acidity.

Vineyard:
Both, the Counoise and Syrah, were sourced entirely from our Estate Vineyards in Livermore Valley. This lot came specifically from the Marina block.
Fermentation:
After being handpicked, the grapes completed primary fermentation in stainless steel tanks.
Aging:
The Counoise finished secondary fermentation in stainless steel to preserve its fruity characters. The Syrah finished malolactic fermentation in barrel, and aged for 10 months in barrel prior to being blended.
