This Pinot Blanc has wonderful aromas of graham cracker, ripe red apple and pear. Apple pie flavor with medium acidity make this wine full of richness but with a smooth balanced finish.

Vineyard:
The Arroyo Seco region, with its maritime breezes that blanket the vineyards, has a perfect climate for this Pinot Blanc variety. Arroyo Seco is a sub-appellation within the Monterey AVA, with topography that begins in the west as a steep, narrow canyon and widens in the east as it nears the edge of the Salinas Valley floor. Pinot Blanc is a close relative of Pinot Noir with similar tight clusters, but it is much less fickle than its red cousin.
Fermentation:
Barrel fermentation began immediately after being pressed and pumped to barrel.
Aging:
Upon completion of primary fermentation, the wine was racked and immediately returned to barrel. In total, the wine was aged for 13 months prior to bottling.
