2007 Small Lot Syrenity

This wine exhibits a wonderful blend of ripe raspberry, cranberry, and light chocolate mocha aromas.  Enjoy flavors of raspberry, cherry and cranberry, nicely rounded tannins and a black cherry and vanilla finish.

Vineyard:

Sourced entirely from our Marina block in the Livermore Valley, these grapes were ultra-farmed, handpicked into half-ton bins, and hand sorted in order to ensure premium quality. The grapes were gently crushed into stainless steel tanks and pumped over twice daily in order to maximize color and tannin extraction until primary fermentation was completed prior to moving into barrel”.

Fermentation:

After being handpicked, the grapes completed primary fermentation in stainless steel tanks.

Aging:

The Counoise was aged in French, Eastern European and American oak for 9 months.  The Syrah was aged in French, Eastern European and American oak for 11 months.
