Wente Vineyards Celebrates Earth Day on April 17

When: Sunday April 17, 2011 from 1-5pm

Where: Event Center at Wente Vineyards located at 5050 Arroyo Road in Livermore Valley, CA

What: For Earth Day, the team at Wente Vineyards has created a full day celebration for guests to enjoy a sampling of great food, wine and live music. Festivities include:
• Taste six wines, two from each winery including Wente Vineyards, Tamas and Murrietas Well.
• Special tours will be available for guests to get an in-depth look at the property.
o Chef’s Garden Tour will take place at 1pm and 3pm.
o Tour the recently re-awarded Audubon Sanctuary at The Course at Wente Vineyards at 2pm and 4pm.
• Dine at The Restaurant at Wente Vineyards to enjoy a special three-course menu featuring garden ingredients.
• Enjoy live music throughout the day.
• Stroll through the beautiful grounds and experience food from The Restaurant at Wente Vineyards, The Grill and Catering at Wente Vineyards.
How: Tickets are $25 per person and $20 for Club Members and can be purchased by calling the Wente Vineyards Tasting Room at 925-456-2405.
Why: Earth Day is a time to reflect on promoting respect for life and encourage awareness for air, water and soil pollution. Wente Vineyards is celebrating the day to highlight its ongoing sustainability efforts and green initiatives.
