When Life Calls for a Yoga Pose: Crescent Moon

BY Karl | December 6, 2011 | 1 Response

Harvest has kept me super busy in the past couple of months and it’s been a while since my last yoga post. Today I’d like to share with you one of my favorite poses- particularly because anyone can do it. Also called the standing lean, this pose is meant to stretch the side body for improved circulation. Although it seems simple, I find it rejuvenating and it helps me to re-focus and concentrate on any task in front of me. Especially during harvest or other busy times of the year, I try to step away from what I’m doing for a moment if I’m feeling fatigued or even when I’m groggy before driving down to our vineyards in Arroyo Seco in the early morning hours.
